For users of a hand- or arm orthosis (supporting device), a special version of the system was devoloped: Free Lock Orthosis Grip (FL-OG). This device is shaped in such a way, that the system can be fitted underneath the socket of a hand- or arm orthosis.
With this Free Lock OG, people who suffer from a brachial plexus injury (BPI) can also make use of the Free Lock-system.
Free Lock OG does not have a wrist unit of it's own and therefore has to be attached to the socket of the orthosis at just the right distance, height and angle to the handlebar.
For usage of the Free Lock-system with a prosthesis for children, the Free Lock OG (FL-OG) can be used. This version is shorter, more compact and lighter than the Free Lock PG. Custom adapters for Free Lock OG Kids (FL-OG-CONNECT)
A Free Lock OG was originally intended to be attached underneath an orthosis socket or shell. To attach the FL OG to the front of a prosthesis, a special adapter must be used. Two versions are available:
FL-OG-CONNECT-1
This custom adapter is the shortest and lightest variant, made of high-quality aluminum. This adapter has no possibility to adjust the adduction angle. However, the Free Lock OG is aligned with this adapter with a slight dorsiflexion on the handlebar.
The adapter is available with an internal thread M12x1.5 or a threaded end M12x1.5. It is also possible to mount this adapter in an (aluminium) tube with an inner diameter of 26mm.
FL-OG-CONNECT-2
This two-piece custom adapter has the ability to adjust the angle to optimally align the Free Lock to the handle/handlebar. It concerns an aluminum part and a part of high-quality POM plastic. Also with this adapter, the Free Lock is aligned with a slight dorsiflexion on the handlebar.
The adapter is available with an internal thread M12x1.5 or a threaded end M12x1.5. It is also possible to mount this adapter in an (aluminium) tube with an inner diameter of 26mm.
